Join us on Thursday, 9/18 from 5-9pm at the Marketplace on east campus for an extraordinarily different kind of culinary experience at our SUBNATURE IN CULINARY CULTURE EVENT where we will showcase historically subnatured foods from Senegal & the Carolina low country! An “educational tent” in front of the East Union will host experts, including foraging expert Wildman Steve Brill, who will provide students and visitors with additional information on the theme and various subnatured ingredients including edible and medicinal plants found in the wild, insects, smoked meats, cheeses, and BBQ pork. The Marketplace features an all-you-care-to-eat* breakfast, dinner, and weekend brunch and a-la-carte weekday lunch and late night dining. Options include hot and cold breakfast items, made-to-order pasta, rotisserie meats, gourmet pizzas, ethnic cuisine, a full grill menu, and the salad bar.
