Program Coordinator

The Internship Coordinator manages the Center's effort to provide high quality internship opportunities for Duke University students and prepares students for successful internship experiences. The Coordinator plays a key role in the development and implementation of the department's mission and objectives in the area of experiential education. The Coordinator will strengthen the Center's relationship with employers through the design, delivery and on-going evaluation of on-campus and off-campus internship programs and broaden the scope of student opportunities nationally and internationally, capitalizing on Duke alumni connections and strong employer relationships. The Internship Coordinator will forge strong relationships with academic and administrative departments (e.g. – Public Policy, Duke Engage, Nicholas School of the Environment, Pratt School of Engineering, etc.) for the purpose of connecting students who have specific major internship requirements to appropriate experiential opportunities. The Coordinator will design and deliver skill-building programs that will support the internship development and search process. The Coordinator will also develop print and web resources that will provide Duke students with the highest quality and most current internship information.
Asst Dean of Students, Fraternity & Sorority Life

The Assistant Dean of Students is responsible for the overall advisement and supervision of Duke University’s Greek community, which encompasses 37% of the university’s undergraduate population. In addition, The Assistant Dean directs the Fraternity and Sorority Life staff, which provides administrative support, outreach, services and programs to 36+ national Greek-letter organizations as well as to the Interfraternity Council (IFC), the Inter-Greek Council (IGC), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), the Panhellenic Association (Panhel), the Order of Omega, and the Greek Judicial Board. The Assistant Dean oversees university and council budgets and manages the day-to-day operations of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life. Other responsibilities include chapter advisement, student leadership development, program planning, and crisis response/management.
Program Coordinator
• Office of Student Activities and Facilities
The Division of Student Affairs seeks a creative and dynamic Student Affairs professional to join the Office of Student Activities and Facilities (OSAF) team. This position will promote and facilitate the integration and support of technology and web resources into OSAF work, mostly for student organizations and leadership programs. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the daily management, integration and support of the Student Organizations Portal. In collaboration with the Student Affairs ITS staff, the Program Coordinator will monitor the latest technology trends in order to identify, recommend, and implement state-of-the-art student activities services and support.  The Program Coordinator will develop and implement special projects in support of OSAF mission and goals, and will help all constituents maximize the usage of hardware, software and applications. The Program Coordinator will also advise the financial arm of Duke Student Government (Student Organization Finance Committee) and coordinate collaborative funding efforts for student organizations.
OSAF supports over 300 undergraduate organizations including the student government association, the student programming board, and the student publications board through event advising, organization services and leadership development programming. Staff Assistant
• Mary Lou Williams Center for Black Culture
The Staff Assistant reports to the Director of the Mary Lou Williams Center for Black Culture and provides administrative support to Mary Lou Williams Center staff. S/he provides excellent customer service to Center visitors, facilitates new hires, serves as financial and payroll liaison and manages the use of the various spaces under the Center’s control.
