Nearly 280 students will begin their Duke experience by participating in one of our five pre-orientation programs. Combining experiential education with teambuilding and leadership activities, each program introduces students to Duke in unique environments through interaction with classmates, current students, faculty, and staff.

Registration
Online registration for all pre-orientation programs will be available beginning in late May when you receive your Blue Book through June 15, 2013.  Please note - online registration and deposit do not confirm your place in a program. Confirmation will be provided no later than June 30.  Please do not purchase a non-refundable airline ticket until you receive confirmation of your enrollment.

Deposit and Payment
Pre-orientation requires a deposit paid via credit card during registration.  This deposit is refundable only until July 16th should your plans change and prevent you from attending pre-orientation.  Deposits must be made at the time of registration for all students - the deposit does not qualify for financial aid.  If you are not accepted into a program due to space limitations your full deposit will be refunded to your credit card. If you are unable to make a credit card payment for your deposit, please contact us immediately to make alternate arrangements. Full payment or remaining balance for pre-orientation programs will be placed on your August Bursar bill. Those who qualify for financial aid will be notified of grant amount when registration confirmation is given in late June.
