National Coming Out Day is an internationally-observed civil awareness day for coming out and discussion about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues. It is observed on October 11 every year by members of the LGBTQ communities and their supports (often referred to as "allies").
The Center for LGBT Life, student groups from across campus, and supportive offices will gather on the Bryan Center plaza on Oct. 11th from 11am-2pm to distribute T-shirts and information about coming out, being out, and the LGBTQ Community at Duke. Please check our Calendar page and Facebook page to learn how to get involved!
Details for the next Coming Out Day @ Duke will be released in the beginning of the Fall 2013 semester. Volunteers will be much appreciated!
