Smart Home Opens on Central Campus

The Home Depot Smart Home at Duke University opened its doors on November 12, 2007 after nearly four years of planning, fundraising and construction. The 6,000-square-foot home contains high-tech, environmentally-friendly components. The Home's first residents, ten Duke students, move into their new home in January.
The Smart Home is located on Faber Street, off Swift Avenue.
