Duke University is home to 400+ recognized student organizations, which foster student interaction and exchange, exploration of a variety of interest areas, understanding of the principles of organizational structure and management, and development of valuable collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.



2013-2014 Student Organization Registration is Now Open! 

Have you transitioned leadership? Want to sign up for the fall student activities fair? It’s time to re-register your organization on DukeGroups.com. Login and search for your organization and click “register this organization”. EVERY UNDERGRADUATE GROUP (SOFC-recognized, SOFC-chartered, Greek, DUU, DSG, etc.) must reregister to stay compliant with Duke policy. All groups that have not reregistered their organization are considered inactive for the Fall semester and will be have their status suspended.

Student organizations, part of the Duke experience since about 1924, are a vibrant and enriching part of student life on campus. Duke recognizes the distinct and permanent influence that student organizations have on the campus community and learning.

Student Organization Handbook

Just in case all those policies and resources have slipped your mind, the  newly updated Student Organizations Handbook is now available for all students to use on the UCAE website and physically in The SOURCE.  This handbook has all the information you could need to effectively run your student organization and all the resources available to you!  Take the time to check it out!

The Student Org Line-up

The Student Organization Line Up is the Recognition Process being used by the Student Involvement Team to recognize the amazing organizations that we have here at Duke University.
