Case Interviewing Workshop

Author name
Jenny Sloop Johnson, M.Ed., Associate Director, Career Services, Duke Engineering Masters Programs
Fred Humiston taught a case interviewing workshop at Duke for Engineering Masters students this month. His workshops are always highly appreciated and well attended so I wanted to share via video.

In this workshop, Fred teaches  the analytical tools necessary to successfully tackle business cases and business problems in general. Fred's goal is to provide a superior case preparation experience that stands out for its clarity and effectiveness. These sessions are very valuable regardless of functions and industries that interest you, not just consulting, where business case interviews are most commonly used.

About Fred: Fred Humiston is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He earned his bachelor's degree in foreign service from Georgetown University, after which he served as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy. He then worked in production and supply management with John Deere, during which time he earned his MBA at the University of Iowa, and later worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company. Fred then worked at Polypore International, holding roles in corporate strategy and in sales and new market development with Celgard, a subsidiary of Polypore. In 2014 he launched his own business, Bluetek Membrane, and last year relocated to Tucson, Arizona, where he now leads new market development for Sigma Technologies.
