From UCAE: Dear Campus Life Colleagues - Space reservations opened on October 1st for the new conference room (Bryan Center 109).  The space can accommodate 18 and has integrated AV.  Please visit https://eventservices.duke.edu/  to book the room. 

From IHouse: In an effort to increase our access, reach, and interaction with the Duke Community, we have office hours on Wednesdays at the Marketplace (East Campus Union).

  • What: International House Satellite Office 
  • When: Wednesdays 11am – 1pm. 
  • Where: East Campus Marketplace (East Campus Union) Balcony Room 204 - follow signs as you enter the building to the left and up the stairs.

Come with questions, issues, and concerns.  We are open to the entire Duke Community; in particular, international undergraduates, graduate/professional students, scholars and postdocs and spouses/partners. Stop by on any Wednesday!

Continuing the conversation from the Provost's Forum, there will be events open to all, some needing rsvp's, including "Immigration Enforcement in North Carolina," and "Talent From All Corners Symposium" where "a group of prominent and highly promising scientists, led by Nobel Laureate Professor Robert Lefkowitz, will share their own stories as first, second or third generation immigrants."
