As you are exploring different opportunities for your upcoming summer experience, especially first years, it is never too early to start preparing for interviews. The Career Center provides a variety of resources to guide you in interview prep such as the STAR method approach to answering behavioral based interview questions and sample

interview questions, which are located on our Interviewing Guide; the ability to schedule a practice interview appointment with an adviser through CareerConnections once you have had an initial appointment; a Practice Interview Day on January 18, 2018, which you can register for on CareerConnections. All of these resources are available to allow you the opportunity to practice interviewing and sharing your story!

In addition to the resources available through the Career Center, please also read
30 Behavioral Interview Questions You Should Be Ready to Answer” to help you prepare for your upcoming interviews! Feel free to practice these questions with family, friends, or record yourself responding to the questions and play it back, so you can hear your responses and make adjustments for improvement.

If you have any questions, please feel free to schedule an appointment with an adviser through CareerConnections or utilize the Career Center’s Drop-in Advising!
