EJ and Kang are a married couple from South Korea, who have spent almost a year in the U.S. as visiting scholars. They are in PASS (Program in Asian Security Studies) of the Political Science Department. Back in their home city, Seoul, they both are journalists. In this interview, they talked about their experience in the U.S. as well as participating in the IHouse programs.

At Jewish Life at Duke, one of our guiding principles is to meet students where they are and provide them a space to explore their Jewish identity. For some, Jewish Life at Duke is the place where they returned to, strengthened, or even discovered their connection to Judaism. Cara You was a graduate student in the Master of Quantitative Management Business Analytics program at Duke Fuqua School of Business. She is from Beijing, China and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Denver. Because of the recommendation of her favorite professor at University of Colorado as well as her love for Duke basketball, Cara chose to come and study at Duke.
