So you’re thinking of going into finance–an oft-heard response for Duke undergraduates to the perennial question of one’s career ambitions or summer internship plans. But what exactly does that entail?

Recently I had a conversation with Alyssa, the recruiter at Arthrex, and here is a snippet of the insight I gained from our discussion.

Monique/Duke Career Center: What was your major in college? How did you explore getting into your current position and/or through your career path?

I always enjoy seeing Nikki’s bright smile and friendly demeanor at our Career Center events. Nikki Harris Kemp is the Recruiter at Oracle, and over the past few years she’s been the “face of Oracle” at our Student & Employer Diversity Symposium, TechConnect, and Fall Career Fair.
