Dorian Bolden, a 2002 Duke graduate and owner of downtown Durham's Beyu Caffè, will bring a special Blue Devil brand of Beyu to Duke's campus next month — Beyu Blue Coffee.

Duke Dining Announces West Union Restaurant Vendors
Duke Dining has announced the eight vendors that will operate the thirteen restaurants coming to the new West Union.
Director of Duke Dining, Robert Coffey said, “In keeping up with Duke’s first-class reputation the West Union Building will be one of the finest, state-of-the-art dining facilities in the country. The vendors that we have selected for this facility will be capable of producing world-class innovative food that has never been attempted in a University setting.”
Devil’s Krafthouse, offering pub fare and a wide selection of microbrew beers, will be operated by Andy Magowan of local Durham restaurants, Geer Street Garden and The Boot.
Have you ever felt happy just from walking into a colorful day? The sky is blue, the trees are green, and the earth has red, purples, yellows, and browns. Well, todayâs blog is about adding some color to your plate as well as your life.
Yes, I am talking about vegetables and fruits (hereafter referred to as âV & F.â)
Duke Dining has added three new additions to its program in their search for vendors that will continue to compliment and enhance the dining program. Tijuana Flats and Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins have partnered with the Merchants on Points (MOPS) program, off-campus vendors that deliver to campus and Belgian Waffle Crafters has joined the food truck lineup.
As the Bryan Center undergoes construction we are reminded of the generous donors who supported the inception of the facility over 30 years ago. We would like to thank all of those who have offered support to the Bryan Center over the years. We truly appreciate all that our donors do for us!
Bryan Center Supporters:
I was awakened early this morning with the news that a noose was found hung on the Bryan Center plaza. I can’t begin to describe the disgust and anger I felt, and still feel. Though it has since been removed, the photos are everywhere and its hateful message will sadly pervade and persist for a long time.
To whomever committed this hateful and stupid act, I just want to say that if your intent was to create fear, it will have the opposite effect. Today, fear will be among the reactions students, and especially, students of color, will have. Be assured that the Duke community will provide all the support necessary to help us all get through this. In time, each of these cowardly acts of bias and hatred will strengthen our resolve to love and support each other.
Duke Dining hosted "A Night at The Oscars" themed dinner event at the Marketplace on Tuesday, 2/17. The event featured a Best Dressed contest and Oscars themed decor to include the nominated movie posters, Oscar statue centerpieces on top of a filmstrip overlay on each dining room table, a Hollywood style backdrop, glitter and glam throughout the Marketplace, strobe lights to mimic the Paparazzi, Oscar nominated movie songs and a limo for our guests to experience as they stepped out onto the red carpet.
