Marketplace, a 3 star Green Restaurant Association certified dining location features an all-you-care-to-eat* breakfast, dinner, and weekend brunch and an a-la-carte weekday lunch.

There are 8 venues at Marketplace to include: 
Wood-Fired: Pizza made on-site in our brick wood-fired pizza oven.
Cucina: Deli-style venue for lunch and Durham Market southern fare for dinner.
Harvest: Harvest offers house-made vegetarian and vegan menu items.
Fusion: Rotates weekly between Stir-Fry and Taqueria Bar.
Durham Market: Grab a true taste of the South with our comfort foods and down-home, southern-style cooking.
1892 Grille: Offering your grilled favorites to include: hot dogs, hamburgers & chicken
Leaf & Ladle: Gourmet soup and salad bar set against a backdrop of our green herb wall.
Baker's Table: Cure your sweet tooth with our daily dessert selections.

First-Year Dining Equivalency Information:

If a student misses breakfast, served Monday through Friday at Marketplace (6:45am-11am/Continental 6:45am-7:30am), he or she may apply the meal equivalency (valued at $5) on the same day one of three ways: toward a made-to-order breakfast at The Skillet on West Campus in the Brodhead Center (7:30am-10:30am), toward breakfast at Trinity Cafe (8am-noon) located in the East Campus Union, or toward lunch at Marketplace on East Campus (Noon-2pm). If a student misses dinner at Marketplace ( 7 days/week 5pm-9:30pm) he or she may apply the meal equivalency (valued at $9.55) on the same evening at Trinity Café (4:30pm-closing) or the Freeman Center for Jewish Life (mobile ordering only 5pm-7pm). Please remember to check hours of operation since hours are subject to change during this time surrounding COVID-19.


Monday –  Harvest: 1 entrée / 1 side / 1 piece of whole fruit

Tuesday – 1892 Grille: veggie or hamburger /  1 side / 1 piece whole fruit

Wednesday –Wood Fired:  2 slices pizza  / 1 piece whole fruit

Thursday – Leaf & Ladle: large salad / 1 piece of whole fruit

Friday – Penne (Deli): sandwich / chips / 1 piece of whole fruit


-Grilled chicken breast at the Grill station
-All chicken dishes served at the Durham Market station (rotating menu)
-Stir fry beef and stir fry chicken at the Fusion station
