Originally from Virginia, Amy came to the Dean of Students Office after working in the Duke University Medical Center since 2000. Amy received her undergraduate degree in psychology and sociology from Virginia Tech and a Masters in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She obtained clinical licensure in social work in 2005. In her spare time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and sons and doing just about anything outside (in the warmer months!).

Originally from Ohio, Tiarra came to the Dean of Students Office after working as a Residence Coordinator in Duke University Housing since 2010. Tiarra received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Oberlin College and a Masters in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. Her passions include spending time with her daughter, baking delicious desserts, playing video games, crafting, reading, and taking her dog Mateo for walks.

Laura Andrews received her undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Masters in College Counseling and Student Development in Higher Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). Prior to joining the Dean of Students Office she worked with students in distress at UNCG and provided services to students at the Duke Fuqua School of Business. In her personal time Laura enjoys gardening, cooking, playing board games, and being outside.

David serves DukeReach in multiple ways: receiving reports of students in distress and following up for care coordination, managing data and communications, and taking on additional projects as needed. David enjoys using his diverse experience in Higher Education for student support. He most recently earned an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary, where he concentrated in individual care and crisis counseling, and he continues to enjoy a relationship with several area churches.
