Kilgo is more than just a building full of rooms where people sleep and study, it is a home for the nearly 400 students who live there.  From monthly Sundae Sunday program to the innovative Kilgo Rush initiative, the RA team puts in extra efforts to build relationships with and amongst residents because we believe people are able to be and do their best when they're in community and have the support of friends.  Our community is made up of five Houses, Independents Marquis, Stonehenge, and Avalon along with SLGs AEPi and Brownstone.  Our facility offers four kitchens, six common rooms, three study rooms, two ePrints, and one laundry room.  Three common rooms were renovated in January 2018.  Stonehenge and Avalon both offer gender-neutral accommodations.

Wannamaker, though home of the largest Independent House, Stark Tower, has a small community feel.  Stark Tower and it's 230 residents are the only people who live in Wannamaker which allows people to get to know everyone.  The building itself is very easy to navigate with it's long hallways which also help you get to know your floormates.  Within Wannamaker, the Substance-Free community and The Well (A Wellness Living Learning Community) are housed.  In the basement, there are two common rooms, two kitchens, two laundry rooms, two study rooms, a yoga studio, and an ePrint station.  The building was renovated in summer 2016 and is almost 100% wheelchair accessible.
