I’m Emre from Izmir, Turkey, and I’m a junior studying Economics and minoring in Computer Science and Biology. I’m also on premed track.
Where is Izmir located?
Tanzania is a presidential constitutional republic country in Eastern Africa, located within the African Great Lakes region. The country has a population of 51.82 million and total area of 967,303 square kilometers, making it a bit more than twice the size of California. Although Tanzania’s capital city is Dodoma, its previous capital city, Dar es Salaam, is the country’s largest city and leading commercial center. Tanzania is also home to Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.
Ecuador is a representative democratic republic located in the northwestern region of South America. It is bordered on the north by Colombia, on the east and south by Peru, and on the west by the Pacific Ocean. Interestingly, Ecuador is one of only two countries in South America that is not bordered by Brazil.
Algeria is a sovereign state in North Africa located on the Mediterranean coast. It is the tenth-largest country in the world, with an area of 2.38 million square kilometers, and is the largest country in Africa. Its population is ranked 33rd in the world with 40.4 million citizens recorded in a 2016 estimate.
Known officially as the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan is a country located in Central Asia comprised of twelve provinces, one autonomous republic, and a capital city (Tashkent).
Officially known as The Republic of Costa Rica, Costa Rica is a country in Central America whose name literally translates to ârich coastâ from Spanish. Costa Rica is south of Nicaragua, northwest of Panama, and bordered by the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea to the west and east respectively. There are two main cultures in Costa Rica divided by their locations: the Ticos (Costa Ricans) are typically located on the coast near the Pacific Ocean whereas the individuals living in LimÃ³n, on the Caribbean coast, are English-speaking and live in Afro-Costa Rican communities.
Denmark is a Scandinavian country in Europe and a sovereign state. It is south-west of Sweden and south of Norway, and bordered to the south by Germany. Denmark also comprises two autonomous constituent countries in the North Atlantic Ocean: the Faroe Islands and Greenland. Denmark has a total area of 42,924 square kilometres and a population of 5.75 million.
