Thank you for your interest in the 2017 Alternative Summer Break co-sponsored by the Center for Multicultural Affairs (CMA) and the Women's Center! We will be traveling to Havana, Cuba to learn about the intersection of gender and race and how they influence one's access to privilege and power regarding women in Cuba. We will be looking at the topic from a legal, political and leadership angle. This Alternative Summer Break trip will be held May 15 - May 20, 2017 in Havana, Cuba.
